I’ve gotten in the habit of drawing my dreams and putting them on Facebook. I offered to draw one of food writer Charmian Christie’s dreams and she blogged about it. How cool is that? Thanks, Charmian!

I won first prize in writer Donna Earnhardt’s poetry contest. The contest was to write a poem that included the phrase “the princess in me” (or one of several other phrases.) Here is my poem:
The princess in me was delicious.
Such a treat when I swallowed her down.
But the heartburn sheâ€™s causing is vicious.
I think that it might be the crown.
I have an article in the February issue of Parents Magazine called “New Tools for DIY Discipline.” I don’t believe it’s online yet but if you run into a copy, please check it out. Let me know what you think.
